Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Nitrous oxide allows patients to remain awake and able to communicate while providing a more comfortable and relaxed experience. This medication is inhaled through the mouth. While it helps reduce anxiety, it also raises the pain threshold and reduces the gag reflex.
Oral Sedation
Oral sedatives for dental care come in liquid or pill form and can be prescribed by your dentist. This medication is taken orally before a dental appointment. Although you will be awake during the procedure, oral sedatives are formulated to help you relax throughout your visit with us.
